Coffee Bavarian

1 tablespoon gelatin
1/4 cup cold water
1 1/4 cup hot milk add 2 1/2 teaspoon coffee
1/3 cup white sugar and salt
Stir until sugar and gelatin dissolve
Cold add vanilla
Chill till partly set, beat till frothy
Fold in 1/2 pt beaten whipping cream
Put in greased mold
