
7 cups chopped pears
5 1/2 cups white sugar
juice and rind of 2 oranges
1-15 oz can crushed pineapple
1 small bottle maraschino cherries 1 cup juice
combine pears, sugar, pineapple, rind and juice of oranges,let stand overnight.
Next morning cook until thick in uncovered pan.
Add cut up cherries, cook stirring about 10 minutes more. Seal in hot sterile jars.
